Alex Haigh

Alex has always been interested in how maths and science can be applied to solve real-world problems, this has naturally led to a career in engineering. What really excites him about Futureworx is working in a team with huge “problem solving” capabilities and thinking in an unconstrained way how this can be applied to some of the world’s biggest challenges.
Alex initially joined Marshall Aerospace from University and has worked on several design projects across military and civil aerospace. His technical experience is primarily in thermofluid system design, covering activities such as system simulation, component qualification and test data analysis. He studied Mechanical Engineering (BEng) at Southampton University and Aeronautical Engineering (MSc) at Imperial College London.
Outside of work Alex is a keen guitarist and football fan.
